A total of 1,637 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals on the Chinese mainland on Sunday, the National Health Commission said Monday.
By the end of Sunday, 151,407 patients had been discharged cured from hospitals on the mainland, according to the report.
The commission said in its daily report that 33,882 close contacts were able to leave medical observation Sunday on the mainland.
