Thierry Ardisson is undoubtedly one of the most emblematic animators of his generation. He started his career as an advertiser before becoming an animator. He has presented many iconic shows like Midnight baths, Dark glasses for sleepless nights, Paris last, Everybody talks about itor We tried everything. And the least we can say is that it could not be more controversial. Indeed, he has never had his tongue in his pocket and is particularly known for his outspokenness. A great career that he agreed to tell at the microphone of Eric Dussart this Saturday April 16, 2022 on RTL. He was notably asked about a possible return to television in We are live to replace Laurent Ruquier: “For three years, I haven’t missed a half second. I turned the page. Obviously, I have had some exceptional moments. Today would be silly [de revenir à l’antenne de manière récurrente, ndlr]. Now, to be frank with you, when I come here to show my face or when I go to Children on TV, I’m very happy. I do not sulk my pleasure, but to be obliged to go there every week to interview people who do not interest me, no”before concluding by assuring that replacing Laurent Ruquier does not interest him “surely not”.

Bad news for fans of the host who were impatiently awaiting his comeback. Thierry Ardisson therefore does not seem ready to return, especially since he does not seem to be a fan of today’s television. Indeed, in the rest of the interview, he did not show himself to be tender towards his fellow presenters and towards the press officers who “always want the questions first” : “I never gave inbut I see thatthere are more and more presenters who, in order to have guests, are ready to do anything, even to give questions before the show. And me, as I was telling you, it was enough for me to be told not to say something for me to say it, so we often had a crisis”. That has the merit of being clear.
