Last Friday came the mysterious horror film Choose or Die with actor Asa Butterfield online on Netflix and now the film is already in the Netflix Top 10.
The reception of Choose or Die can be called meager. After 23 reviews, Rotten Tomatoes’ Tomatometer stands at 26 percent. FilmTotaal critic Mitchell van Vuren gave 3.5 ster.
“Choose or Die makes many nods to cult films and seems like a proud successor to Black Mirror, but lacks the ethical dilemmas that power the episodes of this series. Instead, the lead character is put into a nightmare,” said Van Vuren.
Other roles in the film of Toby Meakins are for Eddie Marsan, Robert Englund, Ryan Gage, Kate Fleetwood, Caroline Loncq and Angela Griffin.
