A 23-year-old from Linz and a 34-year-old from Abtenau were injured in the face with a beer mug on Easter Sunday night. The man from Linz wanted to mediate a robbery attempt in the old town shortly before 6 a.m.
Two strangers threatened a 23-year-old from Mühlviertel that they would kill him if he didn’t give them his money. One of the two threw his beer glass in the Linzer’s face, which broke and injured him. Then they fled, police said.
One of the two wore blue jeans, as well as a sweater, a cap and a shoulder bag in black. The second was also wearing blue jeans, a white sweater and black shoes. Witnesses are asked to call 059133-45-3333.
In Tennengau, the beer mug flew at 2.40 a.m. in the California discotheque in Abtenau. An unknown had injured a 34-year-old in the face. The police were still investigating the perpetrator and the course of the crime on Sunday, which was not easy due to the at least tipsy condition of everyone involved. Officials are asking for relevant information by calling 059133-5101 or any police station.
