This is exactly the feeling that Ivana Gottová, who has been without her beloved husband Karel Gott for three years now, is probably experiencing it now. The widow and the fans shared their Easter memories of their daughters Charlotte and Nelly.
It was his last Easter holiday. Ivana showed a touching photo of Karel Gott teaching his two grandchildren Vojta and Honza to knit a pom-pom. The film, which was originally intended to remain only in the family archives, was posted on social networks.
“Dear Karl supporters, I would like to greet you after a long time and wish you a beautiful and blessed Easter holidays. I was looking for a thematic photo of Karel and it occurred to me that this one of the last Easter 2019 could please you,“Gott wrote.
Especially because of her daughters, Ivana guards her privacy like an eye in her head, but from time to time she makes an exception. “Karel with his grandchildren Vojta and Honza. She called the supporters after a long time. The family last caught their attention last autumn at the premiere of the documentary Karel in Prague’s Slovanský dům. Karel Gott last exhaled on October 1, 2019, after a brave fight he succumbed to acute leukemia. Fans from all over the Czech Republic came to Prague to say goodbye.
