Jay Leno was ‘disturbed’ by Will Smith’s profanities after slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars.
The 71-year-old TV presenter claimed that Will, who punched comedian Chris in the face after he made a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved head less than an hour before he was due to pick up his Best Actor statuette for his role in King Richard. at the Oscars in March, he showed “real anger” at the profanity he shouted immediately after the attack.
He said: ‘For me, the most annoying thing was not the slap, because I was smiling after slapping Chris. It was the cry of obscenities. So you say, “Wow. What’s going on here?” This is real anger.

Presenting an award at the ceremony, Chris said: ‘Jada, I love you. GI Jane 2, I can’t wait to see it’ and although Will laughed at first, Jada seemed unimpressed and then Will walked onstage, slapped the host and walked away from her.
Then Will yelled from his seat, ‘Keep my wife’s name out of your fucking mouth.’
Since the incident, the Bad Boys star has withdrawn from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and been banned from the ceremony for a decade, with the board set to launch a formal investigation, but the former Tonight Show host has come to question the fact. . I need one.

Talking with Palm Beach Daily News, Jay said, ‘What are you investigating? It had to be the most recorded attack in history. I saw the back of his shoe, I saw Chris’s ear. There were so many cameras on this incident. What are you investigating? I know that sometimes things are just what they seem.
Leno discussed numerous topics during the interview, including an upcoming show he’s doing in town.
When asked what fans can expect from the legendary comedian, Leno said he worked hard to make sure the show wasn’t divisive.
‘Traditional monologues. I took politics out, just because it’s so divisive,” Leno explained. “I don’t stop at that. Now I think that when you mention a candidate in a joke, the audience stops to see where the joke is going. Can’t we make comedy comedy? Can’t we just be fun?

Leno admitted that his stand-up schedule is nothing like it used to be, much more relaxed than when he toured for months.
“I go out alone,” he said. She didn’t travel with anyone. I go somewhere, tell jokes, come home. It’s not that I start in August and end in May. Now I am taking care of some family members, so I come home every other day. I try to be home most nights of the week.
He later encouraged young comedians to “work clean” and make their obscenities subtle rather than overt.
Leno will perform at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach on Sunday, April 17.
