Rowing as therapy for breast cancer
The pink group of Dragon Boat trains in Trasona
The Minister of Health has been this morning at the Trasona / Tresona Sports Technification Center where, among other athletes, the Asturias Dragon Boat Rosa canoeing club trains. A group of women breast cancer survivors for whom this type of physical exercise has served as therapy, to strengthen their arms and reduce swelling.
At the moment, there are 12 members although they hope, after the pandemic, to capture more.
They started four years ago and have already won several competitions, including the Spanish Championship.
