Jakarta, CNN Indonesia

Indonesian National Team Defender, Elkan Baggottgot the opportunity to be a core player defending Ipswich Town against Rotherham United in the third division of the English League, Saturday (16/4) afternoon Indonesian time.

In the line-up list released by Ipswich, Baggott appeared as a core player with back number 47 in the 43rd week of League One.

Baggott will work hand in hand with Luke Woolfenden who fills the heart of the defense of The Tractor Boys squad. Baggott and Woolfenden flanked by Janoi Donacien and Dominic Thompson who will occupy the right and left full back positions.

Ipswich coach, Kieran McKenna, promoted young players including Baggott to give them the opportunity to appear when the game was no longer crucial for the team.

Ipswich, who is currently ranked 10th, has no chance of getting into the promotion zone and is certain to be safe from the relegation zone.

Ipswich still have four games remaining until the end of next season. Baggott also has the opportunity to appear again in the following matches.

Some time ago TWTD media predicted that Baggott would get a chance to play.

Baggott, who was a fostered player for the Ipswich academy team, previously played for the Ipswich U-18 team, then loaned out to King’s Lynn and returned to Ipswich to strengthen the U-23 team.

The Bangkok-born player had also been a substitute in several Ipswich matches in League One, but was never played.
