Manchester –
Ralph Rangnick dissatisfied with its performance in Manchester United. The German manager criticized the appearance of the Red Devils in his hands, which was still lacking in consistency.
Rangnick has been United’s interim manager since last December, after the management sacked him Ole Gunnar Solskjær a month earlier. Together with Rangnick, MU was initially predicted to develop.
In fact, that’s not the case. Of Manchester United’s 22 games under Rangnick, Cristiano Ronaldo et al only packed 9 wins, 9 draws and four defeats.
From that series of matches, MU fell to 7th place in the Premier League standings, was eliminated from the FA Cup, and finally ran aground from the Champions League. That appearance did not seem to make Rangnick satisfied.
Rangnick said he was disappointed with his team’s performance. It’s sad that it can’t bring Manchester United perform consistently well.
“I think we’ve got a couple of games we can do well, not just from the results, but also from the way we play as a team,” Rangnick said.
“But we can’t keep it and do it for a longer time. I’m disappointed about that. I think we can keep it at a higher level,” he said, as reported by the AP.
The situation makes MU reportedly looking for another manager. So far, the rumors that have developed are that Manchester United will sign the coach of Ajax Amsterdam, Erik Ten Hag.
Manchester United next will be against Norwich City, in the Premier League match at Old Trafford, Saturday (16/4/2022). Victory is needed by Manchester United in order to maintain hope of being able to enter the Champions League zone.
