AC Milan and Inter Milan compete with each other in the hunt for the Scudetto title. Stefano Pioli admits they still have to peek at the Nerazzurri’s results.
Milan met Genoa in the Italian League continued at the San Siro, Saturday (16/4/2022) early morning WIB. Pioli’s team managed to win 2-0 through goals from Rafael Leao and Junior Messias.
An additional three points brought Milan up again to the first position of the Italian League standings with 71 points. Milan is two points ahead of Inter, who previously won 3-1 over Spezia.
Before this match, Pioli admitted peeking at Inter’s results. He said Milan had a hunger, especially having won two 0-0 draws in a row.
“Of course, I saw Inter’s results, but we know that no matter what happens, we will try to win every game. I think we had the right approach and were hungry tonight, we ran very few risks and that was an important factor,” he said. Pioli to DAZN.
Regarding Genoa, Pioli admitted that his guest played very sip. To the extent that there was an attempt to turn off Sandro Tonali’s game.
