A horse fell out of a trailer onto the Autobahn in the Würzburg region and wandered around there. The owner was able to catch the animal again on the A3 on Thursday after a short time before accidents occurred, the police said on Friday. The horse had probably shied away in the trailer and kicked the tailgate, which then opened. It slightly injured its hind legs in the fall near Wertheim on the Bavarian side and was taken to a veterinary clinic.
