The living representation of ‘La Pasión de Adeje’, (Tenerife), turns a quarter of a century and celebrates it with a staging of Cinema. It will be the first time that this dramatization of the last hours of Jesus of Nazareth, (Passion and Crucifixion), is filmed for later broadcast on Canarian Television as a film. The regional public channel broadcasts this performance live tomorrow, at the end of which it will do the same with the Magna Procession of San Cristóbal de La Laguna and, then, the Interparroquial Magna Procession of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

From the Tenerife town of Adeje, the silent representation of The Passion surrounds the streets of the city and recalls the process, the sentence and death of Jesus of Nazareth from his entry into Jerusalem until the crucifixion.
Adeje has singled out the celebration of Holy Week by integrating religion and popular tradition through one of the most valued events inside and outside the municipality. A representation of the Passion and Death of Jesus Christstaged by the residents of Adeje themselves, a cast of actors and actresses amateur that in this year 2022, after two forced breaks due to the pandemic, they will see their effort recorded for posterity on celluloid.

25 years have passed since the first living representation of The passion in the town from Adeje (Tenerife), which tomorrow will take place on different stages scattered around the streets of the municipality and will be shot in Cine and whose result will be a 60-minute film that will broadcast Canarian Television.
