According to the organizers of “Delfi”, the exhibition will offer visitors to see the values that alternate through the projects created by the design office during the 15 years, which have become bright in various places in Latvia, including Liepaja. The opening of the exhibition is expected on Thursday, April 14 at 5 pm, where it will be possible to meet the co-founders of the design office – leading designers Inguna and Holger Eler and the manager Dagnija Anderson.
With their work, designers want to show visitors that design is not just about skills, design is also about culture: “Design is an active verb – to explore, to discover the world for ourselves, to inspire others. a challenge for ourselves and a call for everyone – take a look! “
Concert hall “Lielais dzintars” has been chosen as the exhibition place for the design bureau, taking into account the bureau’s close connection with Liepāja – “H2E” has developed the visual identity of the city of Liepāja, infographic design and Liepāja application concept in the “. However, these projects are only a small part of the design works on display in the exhibition, which can be found in various other Latvian cities and cultural and historical sites.
The values of the design office will be reflected in different ways – through the works and their ideas, through quotations, through the process and the daily life of the office. The exhibition will feature “key” works from four design office H2E areas – graphics, space, exposition and navigation design. The works will reveal the process of idea development and the determining factors for its viability and implementation both visually and in data.
“Before calling, we must be able to know, notice, touch, capture, admire the world. Then we can invite to look into the world, or to inspire in one word – the world is miraculous, there are no days when we will not discover anything new in it. We must be able to show, prove, “You / he / she / we / we will notice the value of the world. That ‘s what we call design.
The brightest “H2E” projects are the visual identity of Liepāja city, Riga Motor Museum exposition design, “Alūksnes Bānītis station” barn exposition design, Alūksne city visual identity, unified visual identity of public administration institutions, “Virši A” gas station new interior design, etc. development processes and values will also be visible to visitors to the exhibition.
Design office “H2E” is an interdisciplinary design company, the main operating principle of which is creative non-standard design solutions. The company’s main activities are the development of design strategies, exhibition design, interior design, graphic design and navigation design. Designers work with space as a visual experience and design as a communication tool. Currently, “H2E” is also working on the realization of the new exposition of the Museum of the Occupation of Latvia.
