Kiev –
Troops Ukraine launch a missile attack on one of the warships Russia which contains 510 crew. The ship caught fire and was stuck in the middle of a storm.
“Neptune missiles guarding the Black Sea caused very serious damage to Russian ships. Glory to Ukraine!” Odessa Oblast Governor Maksym Marchenko wrote on Telegram as reported by AFP, Thursday (14/4/2022).
The attack was also confirmed by Ukrainian presidential adviser Oleksiy Arestovych. He said that the surprise happened with the main ship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
He confirmed that currently the ship containing 510 crew members was on fire. He could not confirm whether the ship could be evacuated.
“It’s on fire. Right now. And with this sea storm it’s unknown if they will be able to receive help. There are 510 crew on board,” he said in a YouTube broadcast.
“We don’t understand what happened,” he continued
There was no confirmation from the Russian military of any attack on the warship.
