Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) is the main hub of American Airlines and the second busiest airport in the world, where in 2021 62,465,756 passengers and 1,006,122.6 tons of cargo were mobilized.
During the summer season, Oneworld airlines will increase their offer to Dallas (DFW) and will launch new services, promoting the recovery of international passenger traffic at the airport.
In Europe, Finnair inaugurated a new non-stop service from Helsinki (HEL) with four weekly flights on Airbus A350-900 and from June 1, Iberia will start its flights from Madrid (MAD) four times a week on Airbus A330-200. Dallas (DFW) is the first destination in Texas for both companies.
From July 1 British Airways will operate the 469-seat Airbus A380-800 in four classes. The last time Dallas/Fort Worth Airport received superjumbo service was in March 2020 by Qantas.

In the Asia-Pacific region, Japan Airlines will increase its capacity from June 2 with the introduction of the 244-seat Boeing 777-300ER in its service from Tokyo Haneda (HND). The Japanese airline will continue to operate with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft from Tokyo – Narita (NRT).

- Flight JL12 HND 10:55 – DFW 08:25 Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
- Flight JL11 DFW 10:55 – HND 14: 25+1 Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
In the winter season, Qantas will operate the longest flight in Dallas (DFW) with the opening of its new service from Melbourne (MEL), which will have four weekly flights on the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner beginning December 2. Additionally, the Australian airline offers daily flights from Sydney (SYD) on the same aircraft.
Oneworld’s newest partner, Alaska Airlines will offer 16,732 seats per week, exceeding 2019 levels. The airline will offer 13 weekly flights from Portland (PDX) and 34 weekly flights from Seattle – Tacoma (SEA).
In the Middle East, Qatar Airways will offer two daily flights from its mega hub in Doha (DOH) operated on Boeing 777-200LR and Airbus A350-1000, connecting Dallas (DFW) with Central Asia and Africa.
A report of The Dallas Morning News indicates that last year in Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) 6.1 million international passengers were mobilized, which represents a recovery of 63.5% compared to 2019 levels. The arrival of new airlines and the increase in capacity of the existing ones will benefit a rapid re-establishment of global connectivity to the main airport in Texas.
According to data obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium, in April the airlines of the Oneworld alliance represented 87% of the offer of seats at the Dallas/Ft. Worth. Of that value -obviously- 97% belongs to American Airlines.
