The sports clubs in Bielefeld are currently being called upon to apply for the next round of the “Stars of Sports”. The Volksbank Bielefeld-Gütersloh and the Stadtsportbund are behind it. With the so-called “Oscar of mass sport” the voluntary commitment and the projects of the clubs are recognized in the competition. For the first time, money can also be collected for the projects in advance via crowdfunding. Applications to the Volksbank end at the end of June. Last year, SC Bielefeld was state champion in North Rhine-Westphalia.
