Park on the Ilm
He has inspired many musicians to practice fast runs. For the first time, athletes from the Hochschule für Musik are now being asked to honor the founding father Franz Liszt with fast runs in the park. The Franz Liszt Memorial Run takes place over an octave (12 km). There will be musical accompaniment. It is run in 6 whole-tone rounds of 2 km each in solo or ensemble evaluation. The start and finish is at Stern in the Park on the Ilm.
Solo score: you have to run the complete octave (6 laps)
Ensemble rating: the complete octave must be run in duo to sextet formation. The intervals can be freely combined (e.g. as a duo alternating whole tones or two tritones, as a trio three major thirds, etc.).
Wanted:
- Runners (exclusively members of the HfM)
- approx. 12-15 stewards
- Musicians or small ensembles who make music at certain points along the route (Liszt is not compulsory).
