The IPO price of the Martua Sitorus Children’s Hospital is IDR 1,280/unit

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia PT Murni Sadar Tbk (MTMH), the manager of Murni Teguh Hospitals, has set an Initial Public Offering (IPO) price of Rp 1,280 per share.

The Company offered 254,022,800 new shares with a par value of Rp 100 per share, or representing 12.28% of the issued and fully paid capital after the public offering.

Thus, as quoted from the prospectus, Tuesday (12/4/2022), the total public offering amounted to Rp 325,149,184,000.

Of the funds, around Rp 181 billion will be used for two things, first Rp 20 billion for capital expenditures in the context of business expansion, including for a new hospital in Bandung (Hospital Murni Teguh Bandung).

Second, Rp 161 billion for working capital needs including for payment of rent for the Pure Teguh Hospital building in Bandung.

Furthermore, the remaining IPO funds will be loaned to a subsidiary company, namely PT Murni Sadar Kasih Abadi (MSKA).

The public offering period will start tomorrow April 13 and will last until April 18, 2022. Furthermore, the date for listing shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is scheduled for April 20, 2022.

The company has appointed PT Ciptadana Sekuritas Asia and PT BCA Sekuritas as underwriters for the issuance of securities as well as underwriters.

To note, PT Murni Sadar Tbk (MTMH) was originally owned by the Sitorus family. One of the major shareholders with large ownership is Jacqueline Sitorus, who before the IPO controlled 24.11% and after the IPO it was reduced to 21.15%.

Launching Kuhuni.com, Jacqueline Sitorus is the son of oil palm tycoon Martua Sitorus, who is known to have been born in Medan in 1987.

However, the controlling party and ultimate beneficial owner of Murni Sadar is held by the company’s president commissioner Tjhin Ten Chun who had a direct ownership of 3.44% before the IPO and an indirect ownership of 19.30% through PT Sumatra Teknindo.

This means that in terms of ownership, Martua Sitorus’ daughter has more control over the company’s shares. Tjhin Ten Chun also has a kinship with Jacqueline Sitorus whose aunt is DR. dr. Mutiara, MHA, MKT is the wife of Tjhin Ten Chun.
