Luhut’s subordinates become President Commissioner of Pelita Air

PT Pelita Air Service officially announced the new boss. The airline owned by PT Pertamina (Persero) appointed Dendy Kurniawan as President Director of PT Pelita Air Service.

On the same occasion, Pertamina as the parent company of Pelita Air Service also determined the composition of the Board of Commissioners, which was held by Rachmat Kaimuddin as President Commissioner, Michael F. Umbas as Commissioner, and Marsma Mohammad Tony Harjono as Commissioner.

Rachmat Kaimuddin is the former CEO of Bukalapak who has now joined the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment led by Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan. Rachmat occupies a position as an advisor in the field of technology at Luhut’s office.

Then, with the joining of Dendy Kurniawan, currently the position of the Board of Directors of Pelita Air Service is filled by Dendy Kurniawan as the President Director, Muhammad S. Fauzani as the Director of Finance and General Affairs, and Affan Hidayat as the Director of Production.

Regarding the appointment of Dendy as President Director of Pelita Air, he was entrusted with the responsibility of managing all operational activities of Pelita Air Service and overseeing the implementation of business strategies to continue to grow. He is trusted for his experience and achievements in leading one of the aviation service industries in Indonesia for the last eight years.

“We are pleased to welcome Mr. Dendy Kurniawan to be part of the PT Pelita Air Service family. He has a proven track record in developing strategies and innovations in leading the aviation services industry,” said Director of Finance and General Affairs of PT Pelita Air Service, Muhammad S. Fauzani was quoted from a press release, Tuesday (12/4/2022).

He believes that Dendy will lead Pelita Air Service to achieve higher success and further bring the airline’s name to the national aviation world.

“With hard work, solid teamwork, and always positive thinking as well as strong support from stakeholders, God willing, we can realize the shareholder’s dream to make PT Pelita Air Service the mainstay of the Indonesian aviation industry, which supports Indonesia’s economic growth through the provision of air transportation. comprehensive,” added Dendy.
