Press release on the start of the project “Equipping the Săsciori Gymnasium School and the structures with protective equipment and sanitary containers to strengthen the capacity to react to the sanitary crisis”

The Administrative-Territorial Unit of Săsciori Commune, as beneficiary, announces the launch of the project “Equipping the Săsciori Secondary School and the structures with protective equipment and sanitary containers to strengthen the capacity to respond to the sanitary crisis”, project code MySMIS: 145538. The project is funded through the LARGE INFRASTRUCTURE OPERATIONAL PROGRAM 2014-2020, Priority Axis 10 – Protecting the health of the population in the context of the health crisis caused by COVID-19, increasing energy efficiency and using renewable energy sources, Specific Objective 10.1 – Supporting the improvement of the effects of the crisis COVID-19 and its social consequences.
The general aim / objective of the project is to ensure an adequate capacity to manage the health crisis, by equipping the state pre-university education unit with protective equipment / medical protection devices and mobile sanitary containers, which will lead to the result pursued by the call for projects to reduce the risk of spreading the SARS-CoV-2 virus infection in the public pre-university education system, in particular at the level of the Săsciori Secondary School and the 11 rounded structures.
The expected / final results following the implementation of the project are the following:
1. Ensuring the proper management of the project writing and implementation process.
2. Ensuring the obligatory actions regarding the transparency for the projects financed from European funds, according to the provisions of the Visual Identity Manual.
3. Ensuring the necessary equipment with medical protection equipment in the context of COVID crisis management 19.
4. Ensuring the audit trail and certification by an independent auditor (through an audit report) of the payment documents related to the project.
The total value of the project is 637,715.11 lei with VAT, of which the eligible value is 560,365.11 lei with VAT, 100% financed by the European Union, through the European Regional Development Fund REACT-EU.
The implementation period of the project is 27 months, respectively between 01.09.2020 and 30.11.2022, this including the period of development of the project activities before signing the Financing Agreement.
