Shadowrun Trilogy on PlayStation and Xbox platforms?

The franchise, which has emerged as a cyberpunk desktop RPG, may begin to expand on the interfaces of the other two console companies after the officially announced version of the Nintendo Switch.

Shadowrun was born in 1989, which created a total of eight video games in the 1990s and 2000s. The very first of these came from Beam Software: a game called Shadowrun was released for SNES in 1993. In a futuristic world, there is corporate warfare and industrial espionage, and we have to fight street fighters, explosive artificial intelligence, the pest, and even dragons to have corporate power.

In September 2021, it was announced that three PC games, called Shadowrun Returns (released in 2013), Shadowrun: Dragonfall – Director’s Cut (2014 vintage), and Shadowrun: Hong Kong – Extended Edition (which dates back to 2015) will be released on the Nintendo Switch during 2022. The franchise has also turned on Xbox 360, iOS and Android in recent decades. But it looks like the trilogy isn’t just about Nintendo’s already hugely popular hybrid platform…

A Gematsu a On Twitter Taiwan’s age rating committee has also evaluated the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One Shadowrun Trilogy, which has only been officially announced for Switch with a rather superficial release period (all that was said is 2022). This is further supported by the Redditen a post that the trilogy is already there on the PlayStation Network backend, so the multiplatform attack is slowly but surely being prepared.

If the trilogy is already in this state, Paradox Interactive or developer Harebrained Schemes will have to speak soon, even though the studio is silent: they don’t really appreciate a game several months before it is released, and it is not customary to put a game on so early. for a network (network testing, of course, is a different thing, and it’s also used to do so under a pseudonym: we’ve already seen an example of this in Call of Duty).

The interesting thing: the original developers (FASA) have already disappeared, and the IP belongs to Microsoft…
