The British Queen Elizabeth (95) told during a virtual visit to a hospital how she felt after her infection with the corona virus. “I was very tired and exhausted,” she said.

The Queen paid a virtual visit last week to The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel, where a wing is named after her. During that visit, she listened to the stories of medical staff and patients, such as former covid patient Asef Hussain and his wife Shamina.
“It makes you very tired and exhausted, doesn’t it,” said the Queen. “That terrible pandemic.”
Hussain was the third of his family to be admitted after an infection in December 2020. First his brother died and then his father, while the man himself was on oxygen. “I remember waking up and feeling like there was no oxygen in the room. But when I stuck my head out the window, I still couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t breathe.’ He ended up on a ventilator for seven weeks and is still recovering. Now he is in a wheelchair and uses a portable respirator.
The Queen had fairly mild symptoms after her infection, Buckingham Palace reported at the time. Today she seems to be doing better, although she is not very mobile yet.
