When the power went out for several hours every day, Sunil Senadheera also lost her job at the furniture manufacturer in the small town of Moratuwa in Sri Lanka.
– The boss can not afford to run a generator when diesel prices have become so high. And even if he could afford it, you have to stand in line for 2-3 days to buy diesel, the 42-year-old tells the newspaper The Island.
