Still hit by the consequences of the Covid crisis, Latécoère is using its 2021 capital increase to multiply buyouts in order to grow.
Latécoère continues these purchases. After announcing the takeover of Malaga Aerospace last December, which already followed the acquisitions of SDM in Mexico and TAC in Belgium earlier in the year, the aeronautical equipment manufacturer has identified two new targets, this time in the United States.
The two companies represent €90 million in turnover
During an update on its development, the Toulouse group announced that it was continuing discussions for the acquisition of two American companies, the acquisition of which would have a significant impact. After conducting a technical audit, Latécoère submitted two legally non-binding offer letters with a view to acquiring 100% of these two companies active in the aerostructures business.
Combined, these two targets generated revenue of approximately €90 million in 2021, which would greatly strengthen Latécoère’s business. The cost of the acquisitions would be €95 million, entirely financed by the capital increase of August 202 1 which amounted to €224 million.
