How many voters are there in Côte-d’Or?
The prefecture has 366,741 registrants (compared to 360,646 in 2017). There are 908 polling stations distributed in the 698 communes of the department.
Until what time can I vote?
All polling stations are open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., whatever the size of your municipality, whether it is Dijon or the smallest municipality in the department.
And precisely, what is the smallest municipality where we vote?
In Côte-d’Or, it is Les Goulles, in the north of the department, on the border of Haute-Marne. It has only 9 voters! She is ahead of Menesble in the same sector with 15 registered voters and Beaunotte with 16 voters. On the other hand, it is in Beaune that we find the largest polling station (No. 11) with 1624 registered.
Can I come and vote if I am positive for Covid?

Is wearing a mask compulsory in the polling stations?
No, but the prefecture has provided it to each municipality. They will be made available to all participants. Just like the hydro-alcoholic gel that will be found at the entrance and exit. Voters wearing a mask may be asked to lower it to verify their identity.
What other precautions are taken to avoid possible contamination?
The material made available to voters (pens, storage, ballot boxes, voting booths) will be cleaned frequently during the ballot. The polling station will be aired very regularly, ten minutes every hour or as indicated by the CO2 sensors if the room is equipped with them. For people participating in the organization or the running of the ballot who would like it, self-tests will finally be made available.
I can’t find my voter card, is it serious?
No, you can vote without. On election day, you must present an identity document (with photo), and if possible, your electoral card. Among the identity documents accepted are: a national identity card, a passport, a vital card, a driver’s license. In municipalities with more than 1,000 inhabitants, the presentation of an identity document is compulsory.
Will there be enough ballot papers in town halls?
Yes, 10 million 228,680 ballot papers were delivered by the Imprimerie Nationale for all the candidates and in the department of Côte-d’Or. This figure includes a 15% margin in the event that municipalities run out of ballot papers. There is also one ballot per candidate in the envelope we received with the programs of the 12 applicants.
