Gmunden secures second place in BSL placement round

Thanks to their first win of the season against BC Vienna on Saturday, the Swans Gmunden have secured second place in the placement round of the men’s basketball super league. After four defeats against the Viennese – three times in the BSL, once in the cup – the Upper Austrians won in their own hall with 99:91 (49:45). The Oberwart Gunners are third after 84:68 (51:26) against UBSC Graz, who have the same number of points.

SKN St. Pölten gave up sixth and last place thanks to a 76:73 (37:38) win over the Kapfenberg Bulls to the Styrians, who had the same number of points.
