Structural preparatory measures are necessary in order to be able to fully carry out the main construction phase of the concrete surface renewal. This includes, on the one hand, the construction of provisional ramps for the exits and entrances to both junctions and, on the other hand, the construction of crossings in the central reservation area of ​​the A7. In order for these services to be provided, both junctions must be closed.

Road users coming from the Rothenburg odT junction and wanting to drive onto the A7 in the direction of Würzburg are routed via the existing U 39 required diversion to the Bad Windsheim junction.

Road users who want to drive onto the A7 in the direction of Ulm are directed via the U 82 to the Wrnitz junction.

Road users coming from the direction of Ulm on the A7 and wanting to drive into the Rothenburg odT region are diverted via the Wrnitz junction and taken via the existing U 37 diversion.

Road users coming from the direction of Würzburg are diverted via the Bad Windsheim junction and taken via the U 80.
