This is not the first time the Garuda squad has faced a war elephant in the final match of the AFF Futsal Cup.
The two have met 3 times since the last time was in 2019.
Thailand dominated the whole match with a win.
The team ranked 3 in Asia is the team that has won the most times with a collection of 15 trophies since 2001.
Indonesia faced Thailand in the final for the first time in 2006.
The Garuda squad lost with a score of 10-3 and had to settle for being the runner-up.
Two years later the two met again.
