Piero Quispe works at the age of 20 at the University of Sports
When a young footballer is asked which league he would like to play in, the answer is almost always Spain or England. This time, a surprising response came directly from Peru, a country in South America with more than 33 million inhabitants but without a great football history. When asked about where he would like to play or about the league in which developed football would best fit, young Piero Quispe was quick: “I would like to play in the Portuguese league, I follow Sporting”, he reiterated in succinct statements to the daily ‘La República’. . The 20-year-old Peruvian player plays at Universitario de Deportes and reveals that he is able to play in more than one position. “The coach put me at the right and left winger. In the position where I will have to give the best I have and I think that I will achieve it in each training session, improving day by day”, he shot.
Quispe renewed for the current club on March 28 and now has a contract valid until 2025. This season, the 1.70 meter player has played 10 official games for Universitario de Deportes, the club where he graduated.
