The Swedish actress Alicia Vikander (33) has really made it big outside the country, and in recent years has established a successful career in the “city of stars”, Hollywood.
Among other things, she has been seen in films such as “Ex Machina”, “Tomb Rider” and “The Danish Girl”, and for the latter film she also secured a high-hanging Oscar statuette in the category of best female supporting role back in 2016.

But even though she obviously has a talent for acting, not all aspects of the job she enjoys.
Especially sex scenes have been challenging throughout his career, Vikander reveals in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar.
– Was not right
In the interview, the Swedish star describes “intimate scenes” as one of the worst things about the acting job.
– The only thing that can not be improvised are intimate scenes. You need to create a choreography and follow it. It’s the worst thing there is to do those scenes. I am very comfortable in my body and have done a number of nude and sex scenes, but it is never easy, the 33-year-old admits to the magazine.
Today, the vast majority of film and television sets have so-called “intimacy coordinators” who check that things are going as they are during filming, something Vikander wishes existed when she entered the film universe she has since become a fixture in.

In the interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she especially remembers one time when she did not feel completely comfortable.
– Everyone was busy with their own thing, and in the middle of it all you have an actor sitting there naked for a couple of hours. And someone is supposed to come with a dressing gown, but it does not happen. It’s coming later. Looking back, it was not right. I should have been taken care of, says the 33-year-old.
Requirements before sex scenes
Vikander has also previously talked about what she thinks about sex scenes with Harper’s Bazaar.
In 2019, she added the British edition of the magazine that she did her first sex scene as a 20-year-old, and that over the years she has introduced a special requirement before scenes of a “sexual nature”.

– I tell the crew that it must be taken in one recording.
– This means that everyone on set is focused because you have to get it landed on one “take”. I think that’s the way to go, because then everyone is comfortable. And hopefully, even though it is huge and uncomfortable, a little magic comes through the lens that can convince the viewers, the famous Swede explained.
