Colonel Inf Priyanto outspoken about the figure of the woman who was with him before the collision incident with Handi Saputra (18) and Salsabila (14). Who exactly is that woman?
In the trial at the High Military Court II Jakarta, Thursday (7/4/2022), Priyanto underwent examination as a defendant. Priyanto admitted that he initially departed from Gorontalo to Yogyakarta and then headed to Jakarta to attend a meeting at the Army Engineer Center (Pusziad) on December 6, 2021. From Yogyakarta to Jakarta, Colonel Priyanto departed with two of his subordinates, namely Kopda Andreas Dwi Atmoko and Koptu Achmad Sholeh.
“We went to Jakarta, at that time Dwi Atmoko and Achmad Sholeh were driving alternately. We had time to stop by in Bandung,” said Priyanto in court.
Priyanto then said that he had stopped by Cimahi. The chairman of the panel of judges, Brigadier General Faridah Faisal, asked Priyanto about his testimony which stated that the three of them departed from Yogyakarta but came from Cimahi and then the four of them.
“The three of you departed from Jogja? The four of you departed from Cimahi? Who picked up at Cimahi? Brother Nirmala Sari?” asked the judge.
“Ready,” answered Priyanto.
“Oh this is Lala huh?” asked the judge to make sure.
“Ready,” answered Priyanto.
Priyanto admitted that Lala was a friend he had known since 2013. At that time Priyanto served at the General Military Knowledge Education Center (Pusdik Pengmilum) in Cimahi.
“What’s the status of this, Nurmala Sari?” asked the judge again.
“Widow,” answered Priyanto.
After that, Priyanto et al arrived in Jakarta. They then stayed at the Holiday Inn close to Pusziad in Jakarta.
“Who was the defendant in the room with?” ask the judge
“Ready, with this Brother Lala,” said Priyanto.
After attending the meeting, Priyanto et al returned to Yogyakarta, but stopped by Cimahi to take Lala home. But before that, Priyanto admitted that he had stayed again in Cimahi with Lala.
“At 4 pm, we stay at the Ibis Hotel,” said Priyanto.
Then when they were about to return to Yogyakarta, Priyanto et al were involved in a collision incident with Handi-Salsa in Nagreg, West Java. Instead of helping the victims, Colonel Priyanto cs took them out of West Java (Jabar) and threw the bodies of the two victims into a tributary of the Serayu River. Salsa was thrown into the river in a state of death.
Handi is thought to have been thrown into the river while still alive. The bodies of the two victims were found in the Serayu River. Of the three suspects, it is known that Colonel Priyanto was the one who refused to take Handi-Salsa to the hospital after an accident caused by a collision with his car. He also had the idea of throwing Handi-Salsa’s body into the river.
Colonel Priyanto was charged with multiple counts for killing two civilian teenagers. The defendant Colonel Priyanto was charged with Article 340 of the Criminal Code, Article 338 of the Criminal Code, Article 328 of the Criminal Code, Article 333 of the Criminal Code, and Article 181 of the Criminal Code juncto Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code.
