A large fire broke out at the waste disposal point on Papaverweg in Noord this evening. The fire is in a detached shed on the property. The fire brigade is now on site with large equipment to get the fire under control.

In the shed where the fire is raging, there are trucks and vans that are normally used to collect the waste. According to a spokesperson for the fire service, the chance of transshipment is very small, because it is a detached building.
The fire master was not signaled around 10.30 p.m., because flames are still shooting out through the roof.
