Russia’s former president and prime minister Dmitry Medvedev writes in a long post on Telegram that the Butsja massacre is false, and that Russia’s goal goes beyond just Ukraine.

– The goal of demilitarization and de-Nazification of Ukraine is for the sake of future Ukrainian generations and to create the opportunity to finally build an open Eurasia – from Lisbon to Vladivostok, writes Medvedev.
In the post, the ex-president also writes at length about what he calls Ukrainian propaganda, among other things he believes that the massacre of civilians in Butsja has been fabricated. Medvedev also joins a number of other high-profile Russians who call Ukrainians Nazis and anti-Russians, and believes Ukraine has no national identity of its own.
Medvedev was president of Russia from 2008 to 2012, before “switching jobs” with Vladimir Putin and serving as prime minister until 2020. Today, he is vice chairman of the Russian Security Council.
