Jakarta (ANTARA) – Vivo seems to be getting ready to announce its first foldable phone, the Vivo X Fold, which is set to be released on April 11, 2022.
Ahead of its release, it seems that more and more leaked specifications regarding the Vivo X Fold are circulating in the community.
Launching the GSM Arena, Wednesday, the Vivo X Fold is confirmed to have an 8-inch wide screen on the inside with a resolution of 2K and 120 Hz refresh rate, besides that on the outside of the phone it will have a 6.53-inch screen with FHD + resolution with refresh rate 120 Hz.
Make sure the phone is equipped with chipset made by Qualcomm, namely Snapdragon 8 gen 1 with Android 12 as the main operating system.

On the battery side, this phone will have a pretty capable 4600 mAh battery with fast charging 66 W using a cable and 50 W for wireless charging.
Still partnering with Zeiss, vivo uses a four-camera configuration made by Zeiss with a main camera measuring 50 MP, accompanied by a camera ultrawide 48 MP, kamera portrait 12 MP, and 60x periscope camera.
In terms of WiFi, of course, this phone will adopt the latest technology, namely WiFi 6 and is also accompanied by NFC.
For the screen, it is confirmed that this cellphone has pocketed certification from TUV Rheinland, ensuring that the hinge can work 300,000 times, folded or opened.
Basically this phone will be launched first in China like other Chinese phone manufacturers.
However, it is hoped that this cellphone can be launched globally so that the choice of widescreen folding phones can be more widely available to the global community considering that other manufacturers such as Xiaomi and Oppo do not issue their folding phones globally and only release them exclusively in the Bamboo Curtain country.
