2022 Summer School in Law in Strasbourg: “Rethinking system relationships”

The summer school program continues multiple goals :

  1. Enlighten doctoral students on the principle of proportionality as understood and implemented by European courts (European Court of Human Rights and Court of Justice of the European Union);
  2. Enlighten doctoral students on the principle of proportionality as understood and implemented by the high French courts (Court of Cassation and Council of State);
  3. Provide doctoral students with a comparative vision of the application of the principle of proportionality (Germany, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Canada);
  4. Understand and analyze the application of the principle of proportionality in different areas of law (civil law, criminal law, business law, environmental law, religious law, social law, private international law).

Calendar and selection of candidates

  • April 15, 2021: deadline for submitting applications (CV and cover letter) to the secretariat of the doctoral school, by electronic means to the address: [email protected]
  • May 10, 2021: response to candidates
