At 20.15 on Monday evening, the police in Nordland report that they, together with the Norwegian Environmental Protection Agency (SNO), on Monday carried out an inspection of snowmobile drivers in open country using helicopters.
They have done this in four municipalities, Rana, Vefsn, Hemnes and Leirfjord.
Three people were reported for illegal motor traffic in open country, missing driver’s license and unregistered snowmobile. All three were reported for all three conditions, the police report.
