It leads a growing number of citizens to demand from their elected representatives a fundamental right, of which France was a model, the right to be treated. Some elected officials even had to “file a complaint against X for endangering the lives of others” in 2021 to put pressure on the State, for which it is the competence.
The issue of access to care for all has become a major concern for elected officials. If the answers are multifactorial, the territorial and democratic approach to health will facilitate the resolution of this flaw. However, it is the new promise of the future health system, moving from access to care for all to access to global health for all, which will place cities as key players in the future health system.
