Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that Germany is the main brake on sanctions against Russia. In addition, he criticized the position of Hungary, in particular its Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

“The main brakes are the largest and richest countries of the European Union. Hungary did not impose sanctions… The situation in Europe is very simple, this can be seen from the transcripts of the meetings of the Council of Europe. Germany is the main brake on sanctions,” the Polish prime minister said.
Morawiecki added that he would continue to urge Orban to support sanctions against Russia, and Europe to abandon Russian gas and oil.
In addition, the head of the Polish government noted that further sanctions may relate to technology and the economy.
“Today, the ruble has returned to the pre-war level. What does this mean? This means that the Russian economy has protected itself from the imposed sanctions. Tough sanctions must be introduced,” Morawiecki stressed.
