Diego Valdés converted his first goal as Águila in the match against Santos. A curious case, because he enforced the ‘law of the ex’. Later he did it against Toluca. The number was later passed on to Sebastián Córdova, but he couldn’t stand out either. Shortly after inheriting the ’10’, Córdova was sold to Tigres. So he was left vacant and the next to occupy it was Diego Valdés.
The expectations for the Chilean were greater. His transfer was made for more than 10 million dollars. In addition to this, Valdés had repeatedly proven his quality in the League MX when he was a Santos player.
