We learn of the death of Mr. Maurice Petitjean, which occurred in Vandoeuvre-lès-Nancy on 1is April, at the age of 88.
Born on July 30, 1933 in Le Val-d’Ajol in the Vosges, he married Mrs. Lucile Didelot on December 31, 1960 in Lucy. From this union were born two daughters, Johanne marries Royer and Chantal marries Nissen. He had the joy of having four grandchildren, Amandine, Julie, Antoine and Caroline.
Mr. Petitjean resided in Lucy, where he had created a business selling chainsaws and then agricultural equipment. In 1974, he transferred this activity to Viviers, a town where he still resided.
Throughout his life, he was very active in various associations, notably within the association of veterans. He was also president of the Foyer rural de Lucy and from 1991 to 2014, he served as president of the Syndical arboricole de Viviers.
