Poland’s Vice Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczynski said that Warsaw is open to hosting US nuclear weapons on its territory. But the initiative must come from Washington.

“If the Americans asked us to store US nuclear weapons in Poland, we would be open to it. This would greatly strengthen the containment of Moscow,” he said.
According to him, at present such a question is not raised, “however, this may soon change.” He also stressed that the initiative should come from the Americans.
