Dead, wrecks, debris: traces of the Russian retreat from northern Ukraine

Now that the Russians have retreated from northern Ukraine, more and more images of the horrors of war are emerging from the vicinity of the capital Kiev.

In the town of Butsha, on the northwest side of Kiev, the bodies of murdered civilians lay in the streets this morning: residents tell the AP news agency that they were killed by departing Russians without provocation.
