356.9 million euros to tackle emissions in the port of Antwerp: BASF and Air Liquide crack subsidy jackpot | Economy

Europe has the ambition to be CO2 neutral by 2050. This means that gas emissions must be avoided or compensated for. To achieve this goal, the European Commission has launched a Green Deal with interim targets. These stipulate that CO2 emissions for the European Union as a whole must be 55% below the 1990 level by 2030.
