Last Thursday (31/3/202022), the battle Azka Corbuzier against Vicky Prasetyo was broadcast live on Deddy Corbuzier’s YouTube channel, Bunda.
The fight was stopped in the second round because Vicky suffered a leg injury. Due to winning in the previous round, the victory was in the hands of the son of Kalina Ocktaranny.
Regarding the duel between Azka and Vicky, child observer Kak Seto said that this sport (boxing) is actually safe to do. However, he underlined that children who study the sport should be guided by coaches and play by sporting rules.
“If it’s an exercise and there is a mentor, following the rules of sportsmanship, that’s fine,” he told HaiBundaFriday (1/4/2022).
“But it doesn’t seem like it’s in that context (only sports), so maybe some kind of content or something to make it crowded and so on.”
Indeed, the fight that Azka and Vicky did was not carried out in the context of ordinary sports, Mother. Deddy Corbuzier also had time to mention that the action was not gimmick or a mere amusement trick, just before the show ends.
Apart from mere entertainment, Kak Seto said that he is very supportive if children are introduced to self-defense sports. But still, he warns parents to be wise, so that the safety of the child is maintained.
“But if we talk separately, self-defense, boxing, and so on, it’s still included in sports. Any sport, starting from children to teenagers can still be done but there must be a professional trainer. So there are rules, so it’s not dangerous to children,” he said.
Regarding its purpose as entertainment content, Like Seto can’t comment anything, Mother. He said it was not his part to give an opinion. It’s just that, if the fight is really done without the purpose of entertainment, then he calls it a bad thing to do.
“I can’t comment if this is just part of a trick, whether it’s entertainment, popularity, I don’t know that.”
“So if it really happened like that (there were challenges), it should not be like that (agree or be done),” continued the man whose full name is Seto Mulyadi.
Sis Seto also pays attention to Azka’s immature age, Mother. He said, fighting for 15 year olds against adults is not a wise thing even though they have sufficient training capital beforehand.
“Moreover, she (Azka) is still 15 years old, having to fight adults or something, that’s not (not good). But if it’s just part of entertainment and so on, it’s fine.”
