The Birgitte case, Karmøy | NRK: Suspected man in for new interrogations about Tengs

BIRGITTE CASES: It has been almost half a year since he was last questioned by the police. Since then, the man has been in custody in Åna prison in Rogaland, while he waits for the police to complete the investigation and send the case to the public prosecutor, writes NRK.

Police have previously stated that they will conduct a new interrogation of the accused during this period of imprisonment, which expires on 12 April.

Now, however, police attorney Fredrik Martin Soma in the South-West police district says that they will request a new interrogation of the accused before the investigation into the Tengs case is completed.

– There we will ask about both the Tengs case and the Jørgensen case, Soma says.

One of the man’s two defenders, Stian Bråstein, understands that this is a special case, but thinks it is unfortunate that it takes so long.

– Our client wants a clarification as soon as possible, he says.
