Fishing boat on fire outside Røst
A fishing boat is on fire outside Røst in Lofoten in Nordland, reports Hovudredningssentralen Nord-Noreg Twitter.
The main rescue center told NRK that 22 people have been evacuated in the life raft and that they have put on life jackets due to heavy smoke on board the boat. The main rescue center has two helicopters on the way, says rescue leader Tore Hongset to NRK. The lifeboat and the coastguard vessel KV Andenes are also on their way there, he says.
HRS write on the websites deira that it is a Norwegian-registered fishing vessel.
