We are prepared for any eventuality, but here we need European unity. If we fully diversify, it would be good if our neighbors also diversified so that this product, even by Russian refineries, which are also in Germany, would not flood our market, because it would exhaust our economy.

Criticism from the opposition
The head of Orlen also referred to the criticism from the opposition, which does not like the merger of Lotos with Orlen.
It is simply a betrayal. This merger is about strengthening the Polish economy. What the opposition says is beyond my mind. It also does not fit economists around the world

The guest of “Wiadomości” emphasized that thanks to the merger, it is not necessary to obtain raw materials from intermediaries, which completely changes Poland’s position in terms of energy security.
Referring to the allegations that the rulers and Orlen leadership are “pro-Russian”, he stressed:
With such statements, the opposition harms the entire economy. (…) Saying that Mol and the Russians are behind it is stopping the process. (…) This behavior is simply unworthy in this situation.
Commenting on the accusations of the opposition, the president of PKN Orlen noted that “the face of these arguments is Mr. Lewandowski, who disrupted the economy through wild privatization”.
