You will no longer need to present a Covid-19 certificate / Article when entering Estonia

Immigrants from third countries and Estonian residents themselves will not need to be isolated when entering the country if they confirm that they have been vaccinated against the coronavirus, contracted Covid-19 or tested negative.

In these cases, a PCR test performed by a healthcare provider within 48 hours prior to entering Estonia or an antigen test approved by the European Union Health Security Committee is valid for entry.

Negative PCR testing by a healthcare provider or antigen testing as soon as possible after entry shall also be exempted from self-isolation on entry from third countries.

These controls do not apply to children under the age of 12, diplomats, transit passengers, carriers of goods and passengers and certain other categories of travelers, as well as to Ukrainian war refugees who are not required to present a Covid-19 certificate when crossing the border.

In Estonia, the requirement to use a face mask indoors remains in place, but could be lifted on 7 April, reports ERR.ee.
