Video call

Yesterday afternoon, Prime Minister Støre also had a video conversation with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Sjmyhal.

Russia is our neighboring country. It was therefore important for us to convey our view of the war directly to the Russian president, says Støre.

– We have very sober expectations of what we can achieve, but nothing should be untested in the situation we are now in. The disorders must end. Our most important message was that Russia’s war must stop, he adds.

– Worried

The war has forced nearly four million people to flee Ukraine, and nearly 6.5 million are internally displaced in Ukraine.
