The president of Tunisia, Kais Saied, has dissolved the parliament, eight months after suspending its functions in July, implementing a state of emergency.
His decision comes after a group of 124 deputies held an online plenary session and voted on a bill against his “exceptional measures”.
The Tunisian Minister of Justice calls for the deputies to be charged with “conspiring against state security”.
